Apple’s forthcoming iOS 18.4 update will introduce the Visual Intelligence feature to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models. Previously exclusive to the iPhone 16 series, Visual Intelligence enables users to obtain information by pointing their camera at objects, businesses, or event posters, facilitating actions such as adding events directly to the Calendar app.
With iOS 18.4, iPhone 15 Pro users can activate Visual Intelligence through the Action Button or Control Center, enhancing accessibility and functionality.
The update is currently in developer beta, with a public release anticipated in April.
To enable Visual Intelligence via the Action Button on iPhone 15 Pro models running iOS 18.4 beta 2, navigate to Settings > Action Button, select the Visual Intelligence option, and subsequently, a long press on the Action Button will launch the camera for this feature.
This expansion reflects Apple’s commitment to integrating advanced AI capabilities across its device lineup, offering users innovative tools to interact with their environment.
