WeRide Inc. (NASDAQ: WRD), a global leader in autonomous driving technology, unveiled the Robovan W5, a Level 4 autonomous delivery vehicle designed for urban logistics.

Building upon nearly 40 million kilometers of autonomous driving experience over 1,900 days, the Robovan W5 is engineered to operate 24/7 in various weather conditions, offering a cargo capacity of 5.5 cubic meters, a maximum payload of 1,000 kg, and an operating range of up to 220 kilometers. It features WeRide’s proprietary sensor suite, providing 360-degree perception without blind spots, and incorporates intelligent path optimization to navigate complex urban environments efficiently. The vehicle also supports multi-vehicle platooning, allowing a single operator to manage multiple units simultaneously.
