MSI bumps prices for RTX 50-series cards

MSI has recently increased the prices of its RTX 50-series graphics cards, with some models experiencing hikes of up to 15%. This move comes amid rising demand and limited availability.

Price Changes:

  • RTX 5080 Models:
    • GeForce RTX 5080 16G INSPIRE 3X OC and GeForce RTX 5080 16G VENTUS 3X OC WHITE have seen price increases from $1,339 to $1,379, marking a $40 rise.
    • GeForce RTX 5080 16G GAMING TRIO OC and GeForce RTX 5080 16G GAMING TRIO OC WHITE prices have moved from $1,389 to $1,409, indicating a $20 increase.
  • RTX 5090 Models:
    • GeForce RTX 5090 32G VENTUS 3X has increased from $2,379 to $2,399, a $20 rise.
    • GeForce RTX 5090 32G GAMING TRIO OC and GeForce RTX 5090 32G VANGUARD SOC now cost $2,649, up from $2,639.
    • GeForce RTX 5090 32G SUPRIM SOC and GeForce RTX 5090 32G VANGUARD SOC LAUNCH EDITION have seen prices rise from $2,689 to $2,699.
    • GeForce RTX 5090 32G SUPRIM LIQUID SOC has increased from $2,789 to $2,799.

These adjustments are attributed to heightened demand and potential supply constraints. Consumers have expressed frustration over escalating prices, especially as some models now retail at up to 70% above their original MSRPs.

It’s advisable for potential buyers to stay informed about market trends and consider waiting for prices to stabilize or for more affordable options to become available.
